Body-Mind
Yoga Based Trauma Informed Care Psychotherapy

For your journey, mindfulness based trauma treatment techniques are part of your sessions. Many of those techniques supported by the American Psychological Association (APA) and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services America (SAMHSA) and the United States Association for Body Psychotherapy (USABP) .

The mindfulness based treatment is a Trauma Informed Care (TIC) that follows the national health care guidelines. TIC is only designated by a therapist who counts with certifications and studies from different Trauma Centers with high standards.

Clients preserve open to meditation techniques, movement, stretch, and observance of body awareness as resources of somatic healing.

The Western approach supporting the Eastern techniques started with Gestalt Psychology, Somatic theories and research onBody-Mind Psychology. Respectful leaders supporting the somatic approach started with Bessel Van der Kolk, Ph.D. Peter Levine, Dr. Steven Porges, Pat Ogden, etc.
